Degree Overview: MS Integrative Clinical Counseling

For students pursuing careers in mental health, the question of whether to pursue licensure is one of the most important. While licensure does have a number of benefits, primarily the ability to bill insurance, it also presents many challenges for holistic practitioners. We uniquely designed this degree program to complement our MA in Integrative Psychology, providing an accessible pathway for students to LPC licensure.

Federal regulations, specifically U.S. Department of Education regulation 34 CFR 668.43(a)(5)(v), mandate that educational institutions inform students whether their programs meet the educational prerequisites for professional licensure and certification in each state. As of July 1, 2025, this degree program will prepare you for LPC licensure in all U.S. states except Florida, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Ohio.

It also meets the requirements for licensure in all Canadian provinces, except Quebec.
