This training builds the foundation you need to actually practice—not just study theory. You'll work directly with experienced clinicians who mentor you through the gap between knowing something intellectually and being able to use it with clients.

ITA is an independent credentialing body that approves standards for mental health practitioners and educators in somatic, body-based, and alternative mental health practice. Integrative Psychology has been approved to provide up to 400 hours of professional training, meeting the secondary education requirements for the Certified Integrative Therapist (CIT) credential.

FAQs: Professional Certifications

  • No, there are no prerequisites. Experience in coaching is helpful in preparing you for professional practice, but it is not a requirement.

  • Yes, this program is entirely online. Each level includes both pre-recorded and live zoom course components. All live sessions are pre-recorded for asynchronous learning.

  • No, all live courses are recorded for flexible schedules. During Level 2 trainings, you are required to attend at least 1 facilitation practice session a week. Each training has 3 time options for practice groups.

  • All professional courses are about 4-5 hours of coursework a week, although many students complete it faster.

  • Credit transfer happens seamlessly. After completing the training and assessment, the credit will be applied to your student account and apply the discount towards your MA Degree.

    Yes, every credit hour you complete through our professional certifications does reduce the cost of the MA degree.

  • Yes. If you take two of our professional certification courses (both levels) you will receive a $500 discount. If you take 3 professional certifications (both levels) you will receive a $2,500 discount.
