Our Teaching Methods

Our practical educational track is transforming the way students build careers in mental health.

Designed for
Real-World Success

Every aspect of our education is shaped by one essential question: What do our students truly need to thrive in private practice?

We design everything from this principle, removing anything that doesn’t align. Transparently, we cannot guarantee specific income outcomes for every student, and there are no shortcuts to building a thriving career. However, we take seriously our role in preparing you for a high-earning private practice. It’s a design principle we use in all our decisions.

Instead of overwhelming you with theory, we focus on what actually matters in your career: hands-on experience, expert mentorship, and a clear path to sustainable income.

That’s why our students work closely with mentors who are already doing what they hope to do: running successful private practices, navigating real client challenges, and maintaining healthy boundaries in their professional lives. Our mentorship is intimate, honest, and deeply practical. You’ll receive direct guidance on how to build your client base, set rates, grow with integrity, and create a schedule that honors your nervous system.

If you’re looking for a program that honors both your ambition and your wellbeing, you’re in the right place.

Focused, Practical Education

We believe the best learning is lived. Our programs replace academic overload with something far more effective: direct mentorship from experienced clinicians, high-touch feedback, and immediate real-world application.

Rather than front-loading theory, we guide students into practice from the beginning—because true understanding comes through experience. You’ll begin working with practice clients early in the program, supported by structured feedback loops, clinical protocols, and expert mentorship.

This hands-on model accelerates your growth. You spend less time memorizing and more time embodying the skills of a grounded, capable practitioner. We train you to be effective, not just educated.

Our programs are masterclasses in applied psychology—rooted in somatics, attachment theory, cognitive approaches, and functional health—woven together into an integrative model of care. It’s designed for those who want to do meaningful work, not just study it.

What Success Looks Like:

Success to us looks different from what it does in most educational programs.

  • You feel more regulated in your nervous system.

  • Sessions start to feel natural and rewarding. You know how to begin, guide, and close.

  • You see regular increases in your earnings in client sessions and begin attracting client referrals.

Core Tenants of Of Learning

Embodied Learning

Learning is deeply relational. Our classrooms are living, breathing entities that bring life, passion, and experience. Wherever possible, our classes are competency-based, so students demonstrate skills, not memorization.

Hyper-Practical

If something isn’t helping you become a better professional, we don’t teach it. We reduce unnecessary coursework so we can focus on the things that will make you a more skilled practitioner. All instructors are in private practice, not purely academics.

Structure, Then Intuition

We give our students clear session structures in the beginning to use with clients, and encourage them to develop their intuition over time. This helps students get started practicing quickly in safe & comfortable settings, while developing habits of lifelong learning.

Sincere, Not Serious

Therapy can feel heavy sometimes and the key to a long career is enjoying the process. We encourage students to approach their work with deep sincerity and integrity, but also with passion and play.
