What is an Attuned Child Practitioner?

The Attuned Child Practitioner Training™ equips you with trauma-informed, resilience-focused tools to offer developmentally appropriate interventions and strategies to work with children in a school-based setting. Rooted in somatics and developmental psychology, this training equips you with the tools to help children grow into their authentic and unique selves while being part of a community.

About The Certification

The Attuned Child Practitioner training is an Early Childhood Education (ECE/CDA) certification designed to meet the educational and licensure needs of practitioners in a wide range of states and settings, including home-based child care, preschool, prekindergarten, childcare centers, and more.

  • Online Training with self-paced & live Zoom session

FAQs: Professional Certifications

  • No, there are no prerequisites. Experience in coaching is helpful in preparing you for professional practice, but it is not a requirement.

  • Yes, this program is designed to meet the educational requirements for Child Development Associates (CDA) and Early Childhood Education (ECE) credentials, preparing students for a wide range of roles in parent coaching and support, preschools, daycare centers, and other early childhood settings.

    Please be aware that each state has different laws around the educational/work experience requirements for various roles. For a full breakdown by state, visit this link.

  • Yes, this program is entirely online. Each level includes both pre-recorded and live zoom course components. All live sessions are pre-recorded for asynchronous learning.

  • No, all live courses are recorded for flexible schedules. During Level 2 trainings, you are required to attend at least 1 facilitation practice session a week. Each training has 3 time options for practice groups.

  • Level 1 is assessed based on completion, allowing you to continue to level 2. There is no assessment or certification for level 1. There are reqular short, quizzes throughout to test your retention.

    On level 2, you will be asked to record a demo client session, and reflect on your decision making during the sessoin. This will be your final examination, and on completion you will receive your certification.

  • All professional courses are about 4-5 hours of coursework a week, although many students complete it faster.

  • Yes, our professional certifications are internationally recognized professional certifications from a licensed higher education institution.

  • Credit transfer happens seamlessly. After completing the training and assessment, the credit will be applied to your student account and apply the discount towards your MA Degree.

    Yes, every credit hour you complete through our professional certifications does reduce the cost of the MA degree.

  • Yes. If you take two of our professional certification courses (both levels) you will receive a $500 discount. If you take 3 professional certifications (both levels) you will receive a $2,500 discount.
